Photographs include Claresholm No. 15 SFTS, crashed aircraft, day trips to local tourist destinations such as the Calgary Zoo and Banff, and day-to-day experiences during Murphy's service in the RCAF.

Contains one (1) pulp magazine, RAF Aces, a wartime publication out of the UK. This magazine was dated Summer 1942 and featured various stories such as 'Canadian Wings' by Robert Sidney Bowen, and 'Sea Patrol of Death' by Harold F. Cruickshank.

A collection of letters and official records from Bertil Wilfred Bergquist's early life, service during the Second World War, and his subsequent passing in 1944. The collection covers the periods between 1921 to 1955 and include letters home during the Second World War, birth certificates, and correspondence between the Bergquist family and the Department of National Defense following B.W. Bergquist's Missing in Action (MIA) status. A transcription of the journal is available upon request.
