Sekitar bulan Mei 2002 dilakukan penataan dan pembuatan daftar arsip yang akan diakuisisi kurun waktu arsip 1893-1982. Akhirnya sebanyak 32,5 ml arsip P3GI sebagian lagi adalah arsip-arsip masa hindia belanda, ditarik, disimpan dan dilestarikan
